My earliest recollection of my art experience and some of you may think this strange, is that I have memories of kindergarten, that's right, I was 5 years old. Though I do have memories of even earlier times.

My kindergarten teacher (1976) was in those days a full blown 'hippie'. She had long blond hair which she wore split down the middle with two pony tails on either side and was barefoot the entire class! Finger painting and coloring books were pretty much the daily curriculum.
